The Weekly Gem- 3/18/23

Beloved,

This post is going to be very personal. I found myself stuck in a space mentally, which manifested itself physically (did you notice the missing Weekly Gem from last week). I felt as if I couldn't "produce" a gem that would be of essence for that particular week, however, there was something, a thought, that I was sitting on in my mind. It wasn't until this week, however, that I realized I had to release it; not only for those who read it, but for myself as well. As I came into contact with several close people in my life, and, tragically, and unexpectedly, losing someone close to me within hours of me writing this, I find that these words, this gem, will be truly significant. So, in dedication of my dear friend C.M....

"Be the best version of you that you can be, for you, so that you are able to give others the best of you. In addition, be kind to others and love without repentance. The space we occupy is timestamped, so be sure to take every opportunity to live fully while you take residence here."

To the family, especially the children, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Stay encouraged all, take a moment to check on those you love, but most importantly, take care of health as well.
